Join our team and run for my son Sam. He is a smart and funny, full of energy boy that we love dearly. Race day is actually his Birthday and this will be part of his B-Day celebration. Sammy was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4. When he was, 3 we went through multiple evaluations with Tennessee Early Intervention Services and Colonial Hearing and Speech, only to be told that Sam didn't meet the requirements for support services, and that he would "grow out of it." After still struggling through a head-start program and pre-k we finally got an recommendation to UT Boiling, where we received a formal diagnosis of autism.

Now in the 5th grade, we have decided to transition to homeschooling. COVID-19 really revealed how under-served our babies are in the public school system. 

With lots of prayer and support from our family and friends, we are looking forward to having a amazing school year. Thank you for your support!
